RA NA President Ararat Mirzoyan’s Address on Army Day
1 / 1

“29 years ago, in the gravest period for our newly independent state, a basis was laid for the Armenian regular armed forces, which became the spine of our statehood. Today, when our state lives one of the hardest phases of our history, the resolution is again the same – to have efficient Armenian armed forces and stretch our back. Confidently we shall not spare anything for the reconstruction of the army, the rise of fighting ability and the modernisation of the armament of the armed forces, which would let guaranteeing the security of the citizens and the Armenian people of the Republic of Armenia.

At the same time I would like to assure you that the social problems of our representatives of the armed forces, the servicemen with disabilities and the families of those fallen for the Motherland are at the centre of attention of our state, and every effort will be made to solve them as soon as possible.

Distinguished Generals,

Officers and Soldiers,

We'll have an efficient army, because nobody can take your courage and devotion to the Homeland from you in any circumstances.

I congratulate you on the occasion of the anniversary of formation of the Armenian Army,” the RA NA President Ararat Mirzoyan’s address reads.
